APPOINTMENT OF A NATIONAL TASK TEAM ON COVID-19 The Honourable Minister of Health has appointed a National Task Team on COVID-19 vaccines. Members are multidisciplinary in nature and include experts from the academia, private sector and top government officials. 2. Duties of the Task Team include: I. To review all COVID-19 vaccines in phase III clinical trials II. Decide which is most promising and potent, and III. Advise government on access, acquisition and distribution of the vaccine when it becomes available. 3. The Honourable Minister of Health is the Chairman of the Task Team. Other members include:- I. Representative of Bio-Vaccine - Member XIII. Prof. Evawere XIV. Sadoh - Member XV. Representative of Coalition Against COVID-19 (CACOVID) - Member XVI. Prof. Esangbedo - Member XVII.
